A fully functioning auction site to sell horses during a pandemic.
During the Covid-19 pandemic with the country in lockdown and livestock auctions cancelled, Renkum Stud Farm in Gloucestershire needed to find a solution so they could sell their foals.
They asked us to build a fully functioning auction site to enable them to sell their horses online.
The site was built from scratch, showcasing horses with a combination of text, photography and videos supplied by the client. It features high quality auction software coupled with secure online payments to make sure that the process was seamless. Our CDN was in place to make sure the site could cope with the high demand while the bidding took place.
Because it is easy to use, the site is co-managed by Sericum Designs and staff from Renkum Stud Farm.
